László Göndör - Saul Kemack - Kornél Laboda: I Am Funny, Right?
Humor is a weapon that can easily backfire if not used consciously.
As part of a master's program in dramaturgy, László Göndör spent nearly two years obsessively searching for the "secret of humor in today's sophisticated times," and after successfully defending his university dissertation in May 2024, he felt the time had come to finally share the results of his research with a wider audience.

Schedule
The lecture provides insight into the ethical gray areas of transgressive humor and raises a number of moral questions about the possible interpretations of humor in intercultural contexts, with particular regard to its social benefits and harms.
During the evening, the audience will see a scientific lecture that provides an overview of the main theories of humor and illustrates their practical application with examples.
We invite you to a relaxed presentation where the audience can learn through play and acquire analytical tools that will enable them to interpret comic works of art and comic situations in real life on their own.
