Giani Lincan, Lisztes Jenő
If someone says „cimbalom ”, you will realize that Lisztes or Lincan – are right. On December 14, however, you will be right twice at once. The two big guns, two colleagues, two international tracks are now coming together for the first time in a duo, just the two of them, just two dulcimer. No band, no background – just the best of the instrument, an equal, free music dialogue – cimbalomul. Gypsy music, jazz, improvisation – as only those who not only learned the art of music but also became one with the instrument know it.

Schedule
The names of Jenő Lisztes and Giani Lincan are separate concepts in the world of cimbalom – but now for the first time we can hear them playing together in a duo. On December 14, in the Great Hall of the House of Hungarian Music, it’s all about the instrument: the universe that this Eastern European instrument can travel through if it is played by true masters. Their common roots are gypsy music, their virtuosity is cross-border, their repertoire ranges from classical to improvisation to jazz – now these two separate worlds meet to form two voices from a single instrument. With a world of music that only those who have already played everything dare. Now finally to each other.
