Nessi Gomes is a British-Portuguese songwriter who was born on the island of Guernsey. Her music does not try to elevate itself above reality — rather, it leads us straight into it. It speaks with quiet intensity where beauty sits alongside fear, where longing does not await fulfillment.
Her Portuguese roots are reflected in the way she expresses her emotions—in pain, longing, stubborn hope—but there is nothing artificial about her music. She writes music to get to know herself. She sings to remain honest. Music has become the space where she can exist on her own terms — after years of feeling stuck between cultures, never really feeling like she "fit in" anywhere.
Her debut album, Diamonds & Demons, opened doors for her. Since then, she has been performing internationally, in smaller venues and on larger stages alike, always choosing presence over polish, truth over pretense.
Nessi is currently working on her second album — delving even deeper into the shadows, the tenderness, and the quiet courage it takes to remain open in an increasingly harsh world.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
