Aszú December by Wines of Hungary x Time Out Market Budapest
Tokaji Aszú is one of the true treasures of Hungarian wine culture — a remarkable gift of the Tokaj wine region, where the wonders of nature meet the craft of winemaking. Its honeyed, apricot-driven, richly layered aromas tell a story with every sip: one of patience, tradition and the exceptional care that elevates this wine into a truly festive delicacy. For several years now, 10 December has been celebrated as Aszú Day, an international occasion honouring the “wine of kings” and dedicated to strengthening the global reputation of Tokaji Aszú. At Time Out Market Budapest, visitors can discover the magic of aszú every Tuesday through an exclusive tasting series showcasing selections from outstanding wineries. It's a unique opportunity to explore this noble and elegant wine up close and appreciate its timeless character.
