✽ Pilates & Matcha ✽
If a slow yet energizing Sunday morning sounds good to you…
In January, in the spirit of kickstarting a healthier year, we’re doubling our monthly Pilates & Matcha Sunday morning pop-up. On January 25, the pink floor of editory’s event and exhibition space will once again be covered with colorful mats. After a full-body Pilates session and deep relaxation, a delicious cup of matcha will help you recharge.
Come on your own for some well-deserved me-time, or bring a friend—based on past experience, it’s also perfect as a girls’ day out. After class, you’re welcome to stay a little longer to chat, slow down, and unwind.

✽ Luca Gombkötő is a Pilates and yoga instructor and the creator of Move&Mellow. She approaches movement not only as a way to strengthen the body, but also as a tool to support the soul. Her classes help you connect more easily with yourself and others through a combination of mindful movement and deep relaxation.
✽ Richárd Lengyel, founder of Matchy Matcha, discovered matcha’s exceptional energizing and health-preserving benefits in East Asia in 2022. After returning home, he realized that in Hungary, matcha is often low-quality and mainly sourced from China—so he brought back premium Japanese matcha powder, which is now also sponsoring our event!
✽ editory is a white-canvas cultural space with a pink floor in the heart of Budapest’s District VIII: a hybrid cultural venue, gallery, and event space. It is run by edit, a four-person professional collective working with design mediation. They use the space both as a platform for their own independent cultural projects and as a host for short-term initiatives. In collaboration with the neighboring Pigmenta art print studio, they also curate open edition prints by selected artists and operate as a pick-up point. Here, design and art go hand in hand with community building—making editory a friendly, urban living room that adds color to Budapest.
With love,
edit
