We’re filling Fény Street Market with beautiful, one-of-a-kind designer pieces once again! On Sunday, September 13, nearly 100 Hungarian designers and makers will bring their latest creations together for one special day.

Discover prints and illustrations, ceramics, jewellery, fashion and accessories, homeware, plus a carefully curated selection of food and deli treats – everything handmade, unique and made to be loved.
DJ Donnie Jep and Kisjankó will provide great music throughout the day, and of course, dogs are more than welcome – our four-legged friends will feel right at home too 
This is more than a market: it’s a chance to meet the makers, find inspiration, browse at your own pace, have a chat and discover something new.

TAXITURI at Makers’ Market
We’re happy to welcome TAXITURI back to Makers’ Market!
TAXITURI is a social enterprise run by Adománytaxi (Donation Taxi), a foundation that has been connecting Budapest’s surplus goods with people in need in disadvantaged rural communities for the past 10 years. The organisation collects unwanted but useful items directly from homes in Budapest and delivers them to where they are needed most. Since 2015, they have collected donations from 5,000 households and distributed them across 100 communities, with the help of around 700 volunteers.
One of the foundation’s flagship sustainability projects is TAXITURI, a community clothing sale launched in 2017. It offers a carefully selected collection of the most special pieces from the clothing donations received by Adománytaxi. The TAXITURI selection represents only around 1–2% of all donated clothes, and every purchase directly supports the foundation’s work.

Fény Street Market
A popular meeting place in the heart of Buda, the Fény Utcai Piac (Feny Street Market), located next to Széll Kálmán Square, has become one of the most popular shopping and meeting places for Buda's residents. As the Market's slogan says: "Where all shopping is a festival"
There is a large selection of organic and certified organic products. The market is a place for artisan specialities, but also for products that are widely known, where both national and international cuisines, coffee culture and modern bistro gastronomy are represented.
The smell of fresh bread from the bakeries accompanies every shopper, from the counter of real hungarian meats to fashionable boutiques or service shops.
