The performances will feature the classic debut album Real Life in its entirety with her excellent band, as well as a selection of key songs from Joan As Police Woman's entire oeuvre, fan favorites, rarely played deep cuts, reimagined covers, and a few surprises. In addition to her excellent solo albums, the most recent of which is 2024's Lemons, Limes and Orchids, multi-instrumentalist Joan Wasser has worked with such great performers as Antony And The Johnsons, Rufus Wainwright, Elton John, Lou Reed, John Cale, and many others.

Joan has often spoken about how vital music and creativity are in her life: "Music saved my life. I am a committed believer. It's not something I can choose to do or not do—it's just the way it is. The Real Life album holds the key to my whole life. At the time, I felt I had to squeeze everything into a single record because I couldn't imagine ever making another one. Now, twenty years later (and with twelve albums behind me), the dream continues to unfold.
