Soft and Solid / exhibition and pop-up market

The Soft & Solid exhibition is essentially a rapid, three-day pop-up event where the softness of textiles, the exciting textures of ceramics, and the warmth of lamps that bring a cozy atmosphere to our homes come together in the editory’s pink-floored space. This time, design interpreter edit is hosting excellent Hungarian rug, ceramic, and lamp designers (and their creations), and of course, you are invited too.

Schedule

Hungarian design is fragile.

Fragile because our talented designers (whether working in any area of the industry) face daily challenges that make their work harder. Where do I get good materials? Will I find the right craftsman, artisan, or subcontractor to help me with the execution? How do I reach out to my customers and clients who will appreciate and buy the objects I create? Does anyone even care about what I make—and how I make it?

ed𝒾t cares.

And we believe others do too.

If you want to better understand what it really means when an object made by a Hungarian designer is “unique” or “handmade,” join us at ed𝒾tory from February 12 to 14.

OPENING

Feb 12, Thursday at 18:00

Come meet the designers and explore the exhibition!

WINE TASTING

Feb 13, Friday at 19:00

You can raise a glass to Hungarian designers the next day, as the Ferma team brings special wines to the event.

Ticket required for this event.

DESIGN MARKET

Feb 14, Saturday from 10:00-16:00

Help the designers so they don’t have to carry too many items home! Swing by on Saturday, grab a good coffee, and pick up your favorite item (trust me, it’ll be harder to negotiate with the designer on Instagram after this).
