Schedule

My name is Amang (meaning "hope" in Kurdish), and I am an underground singer, songwriter, yoga instructor, and lawyer.

In addition to my ethno-rock band, Vian, which was described by Sanyi Barbaros Cziránku as "urban folk music," I have been working on my solo project under my first name for six years, with which I have performed on several tours throughout the country as a guest of Szekeres-Barbaró. I have also performed at numerous clubs in Budapest, including Hunnia Art.

My fourth album will be released this year, and my work has been featured in more than 20 music videos, which are regular guests on the Esti Kornél (Petőfi TV) show.

The musical environment of the concerts is high quality. At the A38 in March, for example, I will be accompanied by Gravel on guitar, Ádám Dombi on bass guitar, and Balázs Sinkovits on cajon. I also collaborate with performers such as Andris Szekeres, Zselenszky, Erik Tempfli, Zoli Lőrincz, Attila Barbaró, etc.

The messages of my organic songs focus on the radical mathematical variants of the connection between the material world and the soul, the ambivalence of shadow and light, the deepening of our spiritual enrichment, a kind of world-reflecting aura rodeo.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
