Schedule

The fusion of classical music with swing, jazz, latin and folk music is an exciting attempt to modernise one of the Baroque's greatest works.

The Swing à la Django Orchestra's latest exciting crossover concert is a reworking of the most popular work by the famous Italian composer and violinist Antonio Vivaldi.

Everyone knows the Four Seasons violin concerto series, but you've never heard it in this form. The complete score has been reworked. Moving from movement to movement, the listener is invited on a journey through several musical styles. The musicians transform familiar melodies into exciting swing, jazz, Latin and folk sounds and rhythms, and the concert is interwoven with Italian, French, Hungarian, Spanish, American melodies and virtuoso improvisations. The aim of the experiment is to bring Baroque music closer to the people of today, to make the genius of the past accessible to the people of today!
