Our new series is kicking off, where we'll be listening to our favorite music released by legendary record labels.
For the first time, Ákos Mesterházy (MZ/Y) – one of the key figures in Hungarian record culture – will be selecting tracks from WARP's releases.
Warp Records is an iconic British label that started in 1989 and, starting in the 1990s, pushed electronic music in completely new directions, from IDM to experimental. Since then, it has released more than 3,000 albums, launching the careers of artists such as Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, and Grizzly Bear.
