The Colibris / Ditch Days // A38 Ship
The Colibris (HU) and Ditch Days (PT) in the bow studio of A38 Ship!
Schedule
THE COLIBRIS (HU)
The Colibris was started in Budapest in 2018 by singer and rhythm guitarist Máté Németh, together with three musicians, namely Benedek Bánáti on piano, Balazs Koncz on guitar and Kristóf Németh on drums. The band's sound is somewhere between rock & roll, country, surf, indie, alternative and dreampop. Musically, their goal is to combine vintage sounds and instrumentation and modern pop with melancholic arrangements. Their vision is inspired by driving in the sunset, romance and other artistic aesthetics.
DITCH DAYS (PT)
After quickly making their way into the Portuguese indie scene with their debut studio album "Liquid Springs", the Canadian/Portuguese band spent the next few years touring Europe, releasing unique singles that captured the attention of listeners around the world.
In 2022, the band released their second album, Blossom, a collection of pop songs composed between Lisbon, the Azores and Geneva.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
