The Attic - musical | Veres 1 Theater

The play takes place over a single night in an attic in the capital city in 1988, during the final years of communism. This is where Rádiós, the cyberneticist, lives. He is currently unemployed, as he was dismissed from the state center in 1986 for attempting to establish contact with alien planets and extraterrestrials without permission. The four ghosts also arrive at this attic: Kölyök (the first to dare to say that the king is naked), Herceg (Prince Lombard, who lost a bet with another prince over who would wake up Sleeping Beauty), Lantern (the eighth dwarf, who stood guard to protect his companions, but was forgotten after Snow White's arrival) and Push (a kind-hearted executioner who tried to protect the innocently condemned Kid, but both perished while fleeing). The four wanderers are stuck on Earth by accident. They are looking for Révész to take them to the planet of eternal beauty. Meanwhile, Barrabás, the bomb-expert gangster, appears, whom the ghosts mistake for Révész, and Mamóka also pops up from time to time, for example with a bowl of plum dumplings, as does the music academy student living next door, Süni, who lives next door, also pops in, enchanting the ghosts with his heroism and charm, although he has long had his eye on someone in the good old attic...
