WHAT IS THIS?

OUR GOAL:

We want to capture the essence of the Orbán phenomenon and encourage you to share your own version of it in a communal setting. We’d like to get a sense of the impression Viktor Orbán leaves on you. How does this figure, who shapes our shared lives, live within us, and how do we think about him?

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

With anything! A gesture, a look, a costume, a song, a speech, or anything that resembles him—or doesn’t resemble him, but still represents him to you.

What would Viktor be like if he were a woman? If he weren’t Hungarian? If he had to commute to work every day? After ten years of therapy? If he were a performer at Ozora or the top scorer in NB2 as Kisvárda’s center forward? Do you have a favorite quote from him or a dream involving him that you’ll never forget?

Bálint Révész (KIX, Nagyi Projekt) and his team are making a new documentary, as part of which a performative-post-metaironic-trash Viktor Orbán lookalike contest will be held. Let’s try to overcome together the collective paralysis caused by the past sixteen years, but for once without depression and lethargy!

Outside of the contest, you can also chat with the OV avatar created from thousands of pages of Orbán’s texts, which allows you to have a heart-to-heart with AI Viktor or discuss anything that interests you in a completely realistic linguistic environment.

Show off your most Viktor-esque outfit (but you don’t have to dress up), give a victory speech that can be seen even from outside the Milky Way (but you don’t have to speak), ask questions of the AI Orbán on display (since you can’t really ask the real one), or just come as a spectator. Think boldly, and let the Viktor inside you out of the cage.
