KEMET: The Mysterious World of Ancient Egypt | Themed Club for 11–14-Year-Olds
2026-03-28T09:30:00.000Z
Egypt. One of the world’s oldest civilizations, which emerged in the Nile Valley and has enjoyed unbroken popularity since ancient times. During this five-session workshop, we will journey to that unique world where people’s beliefs were populated by a multitude of gods, daily life was shaped by the annual rhythm of the Nile, and the attainment of life after death was a constant goal before people’s eyes.
We warmly welcome children aged 11–14 who are interested in Egyptian culture to our five-session, thematic workshop, during which many of the secrets of this mysterious civilization will be revealed to them. Each session begins with a 30–45-minute interactive museum education activity, followed by a 90-minute creative project related to the topic. In the workshop, children can try out exciting, diverse, yet simple techniques that require no prior drawing experience. At the end of each session, they can take their finished creations home so everyone can bring a little Egyptian atmosphere into their own home.
Participation in the program requires advance registration, which is available at this link:
