The 10th anniversary concert of the Inferno Minor Choir

The Inferno Minor Choir was founded by the members of the Bolyai Self-study Workshop in 2013. Though we started out very shy, the small group burst into singing quite soon; at first, we presented ourselves at private events, then, having gathered courage, at public concerts as well. Year by year, our choir has been constantly growing, consisting of 26 singers at the moment. We sing classical and contemporary pieces, along with our favourite gospels, however, we love challenges, so a few international pieces, including Scandinavian ones also appear in our various repertoire. To make our concerts even more colourful, we usually invite guest artists, moreover, often in the frame of a collaboration; therefore the audience can take part in a certainly special experience. We host at least two concerts each year, but you might also find us on the ’Night of choirs’. If someone would like to join the choir, they can be a member of a very talented and supporting community who sticks together and can practise with us at choir camp twice a year, or they can strengthen the team spirit with us at the rehearsals, during ice skating, while improving their pancake making skills or playing board games.
