This time, the new season of "Páratlan párok" will present a series of great creators and outstanding personalities of operetta, roaming the multinational empire of operetta and even reaching the geographical and aesthetic borders of this diverse genre. Thus, in addition to the Vienna-Budapest operetta tradition referred to as Hungarian and Monarchic, we will discuss the other two defining trends of the genre, that is, French and Anglo-Saxon operetta. Moving on in time, from the appearance of operetta through the golden and silver ages of the genre, the series will reach the genres of jazz and socialist operettas, as well as the beginnings of the musical.
MOMkult
MOMkult is one of the leading community and cultural spaces in Budapest. Over the past seventy years, it has hosted numerous international productions in the Bauhaus building. Jazz, pop, classical music, contemporary dance, standup, performances, talks, theatre productions and festivals fill the interior and exterior spaces of the building.
