I Love You Honey Bunny

The still very young group released their debut album in the autumn of 2018 and immediately caught the attention of critics, promoters and audiences. Suddenly they found themselves on the stages of the most famous Czech festivals (Rock For People, Colours of Ostrava), where they were the stars of the world, and they even warmed up the stage for the Alt-J concert. They are often referred to as "the young Eastern European Arctic Monkeys", which is no coincidence, as they experiment with their melodic, guitar-centric, energetic songs as boldly as Alex Turner's. Their lyrics often discuss the important social and political issues of their generation, and this is no different on the forthcoming album 'We Just Had a Wonderful Time'.

The Microwaves

Intense feelings permeate the danceable indie tunes. Quick shifts between pleasant melodies and breakneck breakdowns. Joyful ballads, punk anthems and chaotic stories are brought to the stage by The Microwaves, a fresh British-rock band from Budapest. Launched in 2020, The Microwaves have quickly gained momentum, playing some of Budapest's most iconic clubs. They released their first singles and debut EP after just one year. The premiere of 'Center of Attention' at Akvárium was just the beginning. In the same year they played at A38, Art Valley and even Sziget Festival, and now they're ready to make a change... the first Hungarian-language songs are coming soon.

4Bards

4Bards is a band. There are four of them and they sing - hence the name:

4Bards. There are two songwriters in the group, so their music is bipolar. On one side is a social media manager with a minor in biblical studies who focuses on the lyrics, and on the other side is a music teacher with a master's degree from the Academy of Music. A dear acquaintance once described their music as "eclectic". Since then, in different situations, if different people want to hear a term to put 4Bards' songs in their head without having listened to them, they say: eclectic rock'n'roll. They firmly believe that this is how it had to start, that they couldn't have started any other way - but this. Two years later, the Bards have released another single, with three songs about love, one way or another. And also about rows, wine, oria wheels in Pest and Buda, burnt-out old men in Orfun in the forties, and the fact that from here on out, "you can't live on love". The year 2022 contained hits to fill the gaps, but also completely new songs, which are included in the Vegan Szexshop album, released in February 2023. "Come with a watching, patient ear, help me, and what's truncated here will be whole."

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
