A 3-hour workshop using Butoh-inspired and improvisational tools as a foundation for movement research and choreographic work.

Open to dancers and movers of all backgrounds and levels.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

In this workshop, I invite you to slow down and tune into internal states, heightened physical awareness, and the impulses that shape movement from within. We will work through improvisation and explore concepts such as gravity, density, decay, imagery, and the stretching of time.

This workshop is not about virtuosity, speed, beauty, or performance. It is a quiet space where slowness, fragility, and subtle shifts become material.

“The Dust” refers to a practice that began with the solo performance From the Dust of the Earth. The title evokes fragility and impermanence, and the work explores movement that emerges from internal states rather than external form. Through performances and workshops in different contexts and countries, this practice continues to evolve with each encounter. By joining the workshop, you become part of this ongoing development.

Whether you wish to deepen the work of previous sessions or join for the first time, the workshop is open to all movers.

Full fee: 8,000 HUF (from March 19)
