Kadarka & Pinot Noir Április by Magyar Bor
In April, two iconic grape varieties take center stage: Kadarka and Pinot Noir. Two separate evenings, two distinct characters, one shared goal — to discover just how diverse the same variety can be through terroir, vintage, and winemaking style.

Schedule
What makes Kadarka and Pinot Noir special?
Kadarka is one of the oldest and most exciting varieties in Hungarian wine culture — lighter-bodied, with vibrant acidity and spicy, fruity notes that show a different face in every winery. A truly “living” wine that responds sensitively to both terroir and vinification.
Pinot Noir is one of the world’s noblest, yet most challenging grape varieties to cultivate. Elegant, complex, and layered — where finesse and balance matter above all. A wine that doesn’t shout, but tells a story.
Two evenings, two perspectives
Throughout April, we invite you to two special tasting events where winemakers will guide you through the wines, offering insight into the stories, decisions, and philosophy behind each bottle.
Program
April 21 (Tuesday) – Kadarka Evening with Vida Wine Estate
Guest: Péter Vida
An evening dedicated to the diversity of Kadarka — exploring different terroirs, vintages, and barrel usage. Through a tasting of 6 different wines, you’ll discover the character of the variety, while the winemaker personally shares the stories behind each one.
This is not just a tasting — it’s an insight into the thinking behind the wines.
