Meg Egy Cukorka started to spread its wings in 2016. The band's story began with a project in high school, thanks to which Barna Hárs and Dávid Mihályi's musical paths crossed and they founded a British pop/rock band that fits perfectly into the Hungarian alter world. The duo then expanded into a trio and, although Barna sets the direction, everyone's ideas are discussed. However, much of the credit for the lyrics goes to the frontman, whose lines come almost from the gut and always portray topical feelings. The album KERESEM, for example, is imbued with a kind of intoxicated melancholy as the listener is confronted with the everyday problems of the average person. But how can you describe in an authentic way what is going on in the mind of a performer? Should the lyrics reflect what is happening in the world? In the course of the evening, Zsófi Kemény and Barna Hárs will help us delve deep into the mysteries of songwriting, in search of answers to these questions. After the talk, of course, the singer of Meg Egy Cukorka will pick up the guitar and perform a few songs.
