BRENKA
Brenka (Blanka Dárdai) is a multi-coloured young talent: the country got to know her in the 2019 X-Faktor, where she finished in the top 8 as a mentor of Bogi Dallos.She started her independent music career at the end of 2020, releasing her first own song "Tudom" (I Know) with Hungarian folk music motifs in December this year. He then started working with DOÓR (songwriter-producer Mátyás Doór) on their first song "Vigyen A Víz", a song with folk music mixed with R&B. The strength of Brenka's songs is often their unique atmosphere, in which the electronic sound is counterpointed by the subtlety of live instruments. The creative team expanded into a three-piece band live and made a successful debut at A38 Ship 2021. In September of this year, his collaboration with Puma, "Miénk A Világ" (Our World), received significant radio support and gained popularity, further enhanced by Brenka's collaborations with other artists (Gerendás, Kapitány Máté, Lil Frakk, Ress, Solére). His debut song 17, released in February this year, was inspired by childhood - a children's choir helped to unleash the nostalgic effect. Brenka's debut album, "How should I obey?", which debuted in April 2022, was also inspired by impermanence, and was supported by a joint, nearly sold-out album launch concert with OHNODY and his band at the Akvárium Klub. Live, the group performs familiar songs with youthful verve, deep musicality and captivating performances.
aZorka
Dorottya Lackfi launched her solo project aZorka in 2020. Her compositions are characterised by poetic lyrics, melancholic and catchy melodies, which take her back to the alterpop genre. Initially performed in acoustic concerts across the country, the production has expanded to include an orchestral line-up in the last year. In the summer of 2022, Zorka performed at festivals both large and small, and in the autumn she was a guest of Marge and Margaret Island. New songs are also being released, and the first aZorka album will arrive in 2023.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
