Luxfunk Radio Funky Party - A38 Rooftop
Luxfunk Radio was launched in 2009.In 16 years, we've had a lot of experiences, but perhaps most importantly, while we've been constantly evolving, we've been making people's days and nights better. More than once, we have also struggled to survive, and the highs and lows have strengthened our team and our loyal, enduring community. We're proud that Luxfunkers, the real Funky faces, can still be counted on after 16 years just as much as they were at the beginning.

Luxfunk Radio's Funky Party series is a year and a half younger than the radio itself, and has a history: friendships, loves and marriages have been born within this community. There are many people who go to these parties today who, in their thirties, were with us at the very first parties when they started, met their love here, and now go to Luxfunk Parties in the evening, married, with their child or children.
We are proud of our stories and the stories of our listeners and guests that we still receive, read and listen to today when you share with us how you found us, how Luxfunk became part of your everyday life, or how just being us pulled someone out of a mental crisis. We are proud of the Luxfunk community. On 21 July, we will once again celebrate you, not ourselves.

The country's largest Funky community of adult Funky fans partying at sessions. At Luxfunk Parties, 35-55 year olds can reminisce about the Funk and Soul greats of the '70s and '80s, the old school Hip-Hop and Rnb favourites of the '90s and millennium. Luxfunk Radio DJs guarantee quality black music. DJ Taylor and DJ Deza from our team of 20 DJs will be on hand to set the mood for the 16th birthday with a classic funky style.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
