TITAN is the second double premiere of SUB.LAB.PRO The Ensemble Program this season. This time, the dancers have collaborated with Italian choreographer and director Manuel Ronda, who has established his unique creative language with world-renowned companies such as Ultima Vez, Charleroi Danse and Rootlesroot, to name but a few. As a final creative process, the ensemble has worked with Adrien Hód, who has undoubtedly redefined the boundaries and perspectives of contemporary dance both in Hungary and internationally.
The Studio's regular programmes include performances by the Artus company, guest performances, visual arts exhibitions, music and other cultural events, as well as self-awareness and movement workshops.

Ronda and Hód offers dancers the opportunity to immerse themselves in different kinds of creative processes, working methods and performing arts experiences.
Titan is the largest moon of Saturn, in Greek mythology Titan was not named after a single man but after a group of gods who ruled the world. Titan emphasises the past and the environment that the past created and in which we are forced to live and work. The past can hold us back or be a source of advice and tools, it can act as a "shoulder to lean on", it is present in any case and it largely determines our existence.
The Ensemble members have now come to the end of the programme, but their artistic careers are only just beginning!

We will use improvisational techniques to use the body to explore the rhythm, composition, aesthetics, stillness and silence of movement and sound. Without the slightest intention of judgement. Taking advantage of the possibilities that lie before them, the dancers can discover their own intentions, their inner selves, their visible and invisible sides, the relationship between the centre and the sound, their radiance and disappearance, to express all that lies within.

What tools does a contemporary dancer have? What are the dance technique basics for a contemporary dancer? How does a contemporary dancer use or not use her own technical knowledge?
The exploration of movement starts from the use of basic movements such as rotation, swinging, rolling, jumping, stepping, passing, lifting, falling and acrobatic elements - from the simplest realisations to the most extreme "technical" solutions and back. This takes us from seemingly clumsy body use to fully developed, precise solutions for creating forms and nuancing them. We look for the minimum and the maximum. Seek technical bravura by drawing on other dance styles.
