The Doors, led by Jim Morrison, are one of the most iconic and influential bands of the 20th century. The defining quartet of blues-rock and psychedelic rock with their bohemian singer-songwriter had an almost unearthly influence on their generation and the lives of those who came after them. Now, three well-known Hungarian musicians have combined their creative talents to rework their still vital oeuvre for the 21st century sound. In the trio When The Music's Over, Soma Nóvé, iamyank and Tibor Vangel pay tribute to the Doors and Morrison, who was born 80 years ago this year.

One of the great founding bands of rock history, The Doors are discovered by each new generation because of their complex, unusual songs and the character of Jim Morrison, who died in 1971. Now, three Hungarian artists from very different backgrounds have found each other in this life's work. What all three of them have in common is that they do not just like to deal with one kind of thing. Soma Nóvé, best known as the frontman of the neo-psychedelic Middlemist Red, is nowadays active with the folk-rock band MORDÁI, but he is also known for several other projects. The genre-bending iamyank takes his audience from electronic to contemporary to ambient post-metal with his various projects, while Tibor Vangel was the drummer of one of the defining alternative rock bands of the 80s and 90s with Sexepill, and later became a member of Volkova Sisters and DB Armitage. The three Hungarian musicians are performing together for the first time. The psychedelic sounds of the sixties and the electronic sounds of today meet within the walls of Müpa Budapest.
