Pastell Contemporro is a Hungarian jazz quartet formed in 2008 by pianist János Weisz and saxophonist Attila Borkó, with Márton Eged (bass) and Sly Juhász (drums).

Each of them plays in other formations with other excellent artists such as István Elek, Márton Fenyvesi, the Transform Quintet and Bálint Gyémánt.

They regularly perform in the biggest Hungarian clubs (A38, Budapest Jazz Club, Opus Jazz Club) and have also participated in the Budapest Music Expo.

The orchestra's sound is contemporary jazz in the Bartók tradition, drawing on the jazz avant-garde of 1960s America, with elements of folk, bop and swing. Among these, the most characteristic features are a grotesque-ironic tone and audience-friendly humour.
