Damara
Damara, fronted by Agata Angilella and featuring flawless solos and heartbreaking vocal themes, will present their second album at the Aquarium at the end of February.

Damara presents its new album on one of the last days of winter. The band has won a special prize at the Free A Stage! Talent Contest, was shortlisted for the Kikeltető, and toured every festival in the country. Their lyrics draw heavily on the personal experiences of half-Italian singer-songwriter Agata Angilella, backed by a highly skilled band, several of whom teach music. After the sometimes playful, sometimes downright sad first album I'm Looking for My Place, Light and Boogie suggests a much happier set of songs, but wait for the end!
The song above, 'Stupid Kid', is the first single from the new album, and the video for the song was directed by Lilla Kizlinger, who won the Silver Bear at last year's Berlinale. What's for sure is that flawless solos, heart-wrenching vocals and one of the best indie-rock bands in the country await those who visit the Akvárium KisHall on 25 February.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
