Moonwalks is a psychedelic space-rock band with members from Detroit and Brooklyn.
Ancient Spaceships travels the universe from the Veszprém Space Station. The band's debut concept album 'Dream Well Tonight' is about the first ten years of the adventures of Captain Zoli Juhåsz and his crew.
Schedule
The Moonwalks trio is made up of Kerrigan Pearce (drums), Jacob Dean (guitar) and Kate Gutwald (bass). Starting out in Detroit DIY circles, they first played in temporary warehouses, and over time toured North America and Europe opening for bands such as The Murlocs, Metric, Julian Casablancas & The Voidz, Thee Oh Sees, The Liminanas and The Mystery Lights. Their third studio LP, "Western Mystery Tradition", was produced by Jonah Swilley (Mattiel, ATO Records) and produced by Bill Skibbe (The Kills, Jack White) at Masonic Temple in Detroit, Key Club Recording Studios and Third Man Records. On the album you can hear the band's departure from their DIY psychedelic rock roots as their music becomes more mature and sophisticated. Western Mystery Tradition" will be released in May 2023 on Fuzz Club Records.
