We invite you to a special event on 20th August from 6 p.m. Have dinner with us at Onyx Műhely, and then let's drink sparkling wine together as we sail out on the Danube.
Our **METROPOLIS **menu is inspired by Budapest, which celebrates its 150th birthday this year, so we celebrate not only Hungary but also Budapest in Onyx style this evening.
The program starts in the Onyx Műhely, where you can taste unlimited dishes from our METROPOLIS menu, while you can also drink as much of our favourite sparkling wine as you like! Our Onyx Brut Nature Magnum Vintage 2017 sparkling wine, made in collaboration with the **Sauska Vinery **is making its debut this evening, which of course accompanies us throughout the evening!
After dinner at Műhely, we head to the river, where we board the ship Várhegy anchored at Vígadó Square, which is just waiting for us.
We can watch the **fireworks **from here with a unique view from the deck of the ship, accompanied by bubbles, which we finally crown with an illuminated panoramic cruise of Budapest in the company of metropolis snacks.
And to give an even better way to celebrate, we will not only put a twist on the neck of our new sparkling wine but also the traditional bread breaking, so we will eat our homemade sourdough bread as part of a communal "dipping party" on the ship.

Fireworks viewing with sparkling wine from the Várhegy boat stationed at Vigadó Square and on the associated dock, where it shows the dazzling side of the entire city.
21.30 – 23.00
Exclusive boat trip on the Danube, with the unique panorama of Budapest and the ONYX Creative Community. Enjoy the sights of the city with salty and sweet snacks and unlimited drinks as we cruise along the river.

Onyx Műhely
The goal of Műhely is to present progressive Hungarian cuisine which is based on the intertwining of art, science and gastronomy and that uses local ingredients. In addition to the experimental kitchen, Műhely also includes a gastronomy library and an open view ceramics workshop, which both play an important role in our efforts to develop the talents of the new generation of culinary and design professionals.
