Manaky was formed in 2014. The word Manaky means "monarchy" in Patois (Jamaican English), and the choice of name is of course a message: these musicians are unique in Europe in playing authentic reggae music, blended with soul, hip-hop and funk elements.

The band's founding members are Zsolt Krecsmáry (vocals, drums), András Koroknay (bass guitar) and András Kálmán (keyboards), and the boys are known from the bands Folkfree, Bijou, Knotty Headz and Soulclap.
Anyone familiar with the dub/reggae scene in Hungary will not have missed Manaky's work; the trio line-up mixes authentic reggae with funk, soul and electronica on a world-class level. This evening they will be performing an improvised instrumental dub concert with flutist Fanni Zahár.
Fanni Zahár is one of the best-known Hungarian musicians of her generation, and is renowned for her jazz playing in many parts of the world, from Berlin to London. Despite her young age, she has worked with countless producers and bands. He will soon release his own compositions under the name Zakhorov.
During the evening we offer to support the musicians with a minimum of 1000 HUF.
