In the music of Ákos Fekecs Life Project, meditative feelings, pulsating, varied rhythms, a colourful world of harmonies, wandering between genres and ancient monotony are all present. Ákos founded the band with the aim of shaping his songs for handpicked and stringed drums together, and to further deepen their shared experience.

Schedule

They play a wide range of instruments from acoustic to modern electronic, including handpans, reeds, percussion, drums, guitar, bass, flute, didgeridoo, piano and keyboards, alto saxophone and electric saxophone.

The majority of the compositions are inspired by love, love, nature, creation and the sheer joy of creating. Ákos's handpan playing is mainly inspired by Nadishana, an incredibly precise, multi-instrumentalist musician-composer, while as a drummer he has been most influenced by Gergő Borlai since childhood. The band was formed by a group of friends who have played together in several formations before. In September 2021, they made their first stage debut as a quartet, which was expanded to a quintet in 2023 with the addition of another drummer, Gergő Okos. They are often joined by guest vocalist Sára Kovács (flute), who joins the band for this concert.
