Man with the recorder / Soundtrack for silent film

On the second - and first outdoor - occasion of the Hungarian House of Music's series "Soundtrack to Silent Film", the audience will be able to see Dziga Vertov's classic Man with the Recorder, premiered in 1929. One of the most revolutionary and influential works of Soviet silent filmmaking, it was no less than the creation of a pure and universal international cinematic language.

In the tradition of the silent film era, the screening will be accompanied by improvised live music performed by pianist Dalma Felszegi, violinist Zoltán Lantos and DJ Panda (Marcus Nagy).
