Mansur's unique compositional technique combines many musical worlds (as there are plenty of good words to call his music, nu-jazz, deep funk, instrumental hiphop, etc. ): flamenco-inspired jazzy, funky, breezy guitar playing with idiosyncratic production solutions that incorporate the revolutionary r&b of the early '00s - with Timbaland's bursts of burst rhythm - the Afrobeats twists that have been in vogue in recent years, and a melancholic, metropolitan dubstep sound palette like Burial.
"Sometimes my music has a club vibe, other times it's more introspective," sums up the protagonist succinctly. "But they all have a feeling of happiness and gratitude running through them. I want it to feel rejuvenating to listen to."
