MINE music worskhop: Rhythm lab with Berci Sárkány

The MINE event will give local residents and casual visitors alike the opportunity to learn more about the construction of musical works through knowledge sharing, and to get inspired to get involved in the future.
In this musical workshop, participants will learn about the rhythms of different peoples, percussion instruments, even the use of household instruments as percussion instruments.

Course instructor: Bertalan Sárkány (Margaret Island, Mary Popkids, Classic Lasso).
After the instrumental demonstration, audience members will learn basic percussion techniques, then create a collective performance through playful rhythm exercises, and the programme will end with a mini-concert performed by the course participants.
At the Cult Network Bases, you will have an unusual close encounter with the arts, artists, art history and contemporary culture in an intimate and sometimes participatory setting.
