"we need to get out of here!" - FSA slams off the top of my head #5

2023-09-06T18:00:00.000Z

This evening is part 5 of a series (scroll down for English). As in the previous 4 slam competitions of the Underground Slam Academy (FSA https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100071202865371), this time the competition is only open to slammers who speak from their heads, and the theme is again this line from Attila József's poem "I should be free already!" Slams can be freely linked to this line in any way. This time, however, the jury will also give special consideration to slams about liberation from the regulations prohibiting and restricting the distribution of books that depict sexuality for its own sake or that contain sexual minority content (see https://litera.hu/.../jelenkor-kiado-szerzoinek..., https://mkogy.jogtar.hu/jogszabaly? docid=A2100079.TV, ) In addition, of course, the texts can also be about the poem by Attila József József, My Country, about political liberation, liberation from our prejudices, anxieties, mechanisation, nature-destroying habits, prejudices, liberation from reading slam texts, or any other meaning.

- to encourage socially critical slams

- to encourage the representation of love and sexual themes in slams in a human rights and environmental context,

- as a slam writing workshop to help slammer,

- encouraging the recitation of slams by heart,

- encouraging the avoidance of hackneyed but misguided platitudes and self-pity, and encouraging deepening and challenging of slams,

- refreshing the courage of thought, both of language and of questioning the truth of one's own thoughts,

- to reconcile conservative, libertarian, egalitarian and green values, faithful to the traditions to be preserved, such as the first of the 12 points of the 48',

- showing that the Hungarian-language slam is naturally all-Hungarian,

- linking the search through slam to scientific research,

- inspiring scientific research,

- contributing to the understanding and promotion of the results of scientific research,

- fostering meaningful collaboration between slammer artists, poets, writers, actors, dancers, painters, graphic designers and other artists, researchers and public figures,
