Random Trip is the most colourful popular music community in Hungary: a series of improvisational concerts that crosses genre boundaries (pop, rock, jazz, hiphop, blues, electro, etc.), in which performers from the most diverse genres of Hungarian popular music perform in often surprising combinations and involve each other in the most unexpected musical adventures.

The weekly club night, which started in 2008/2009 in Budapest clubs, has now "outgrown" its own framework: it is a welcome guest at Budapest's biggest venues, jazz festivals, major summer music festivals and the best country clubs, and its performers regularly include international stars. The series is headlined by drummer Delov Jávor and DJ Q-Cee, with a changing line-up of musicians each time.

Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
