Schedule

The members are active musicians of the Hungarian and international jazz and popular music scene. Their music is permeated with a sense of languor, while the end result is clearly linked to the latest lineage of contemporary urban jazz. Their song-centric compositions are taken to the next level, sometimes with electronics, sometimes with improvisation. They do this with real ease, as they have been major players in the Hungarian jazz and popular music scene as members of the Dresch Quartet or Mörk since before the band started. Their debut album was released in April 2023 on their own label, Morotva Records.

Line-up:

Dániel Ferenc Szabó - drums

Gyányi Marcell - double bass

Dánániel Dániel Daniels Daniell, Jr. Tóth István - guitar

Damján Ocsovay - piano

Varga Dániel - saxophone

The event is supported by the National Cultural Fund.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
