At first glance, Larry is a classic coming-of-age story about a stuttering boy from Borsod who starts a rap career, but in the end, Szilárd Bernáth's debut feature film proves to be a much more complex work.

Ádám lives his everyday life as a shepherd in the depths of Borsod, and he can save just enough of his miserable salary to buy his own estate with his policeman father, who has recovered from alcoholism. However, far from being his dream, Adam's dream is to run his own rap in an online talent contest. The only flaw in the formula is that the boy stutters and can only speak fluently when he's alone.
