Singer-songwriter Péter Jakab, after his debut album in 2021, entitled "This is not it yet", his second album, released on 1 February 2023, is a slight departure from the previous one - it has a more solidly acoustic sound - and this time it also features members of the band (guitarist Áron Hajba, bassist Tibor Kalmár and drummer Zoltán Mózes).

Schedule

Péter Jakab is the frontman of the art-rock band Jazzékiel, but he has also been active solo for some time, since his first solo album (Nem fontos Person) was released in February 2021, which he wrote and recorded in a month in a home environment. Spinoff, room music, personal mini-album on which he played all the instruments. The album received a great reception - it did well in the year-end charts and the music video for the title track won the "Best image video" award at the 2021 Hungarian Klipszemle. As a rare live production, friends such as former Jazzékiel guitarist Áron Hajba (guitar, Arons Land Cargo Co.), Tibor Kalmár (bass, Anton Vezuv) and Zoltán Mózes (drums, Napokon) helped to perform the songs live. The second solo album, released on February 1, was in some ways written in a similar method as the first, as this material was also written by Jaka alone and recorded mostly at home, but this time the bandmates known from the concert line-up also play on the finished recordings.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
