In 2020, singer-songwriter NOIRA (Nóra Rajcsányi) has created her own musical universe, uniquely blending old-school, alternative R&B and soul. She has been working with her constant songwriting partner Fanny Gyarmati since the beginning. By 2022, she released her first debut single alongside several singles. This spring, the band was selected as one of the 20 winners of the Petőfi Cultural Agency's Big Album Programme, which attracted more than 300 applicants.

Saya Noé

Classical musician Mimi Kőrös, known artistically as Saya Noé, spent most of her childhood with her parents in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After a long musical journey, she became a true DIY artist who not only writes the melodies and lyrics, but also produces and arranges the songs herself. His music is mostly "pop noir", melancholic, alternative electropop with elements of hiphop and trap. His sound is influenced by artists such as the BANKS, MØ and Slenderbodies, who have inspired him, and has also been mentioned by music journalists as Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish. He is also the best-known Hungarian music Twitch streamer, with nearly 42,000 followers worldwide.

In December 2020, she released her first album, Museum of Sins, on which Mimi and her co-producer Gábor Biksi are joined by several family members playing various instruments. The album's most successful song, Under The River, which was nominated for the Petőfi Music Award in the category of Hungarian Foreign Language Song of the Year, was mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Matt Lawrence, and the album received a Fonogram Award nomination for Best Modern Pop Sound Recording. Since the summer of 2021, Mimi has performed in orchestral form at numerous festivals (Arts Valley, Kolorado, Bánkito, Campus, SZIN, 10 Days on the Beach, Vidor, etc.) and other concert stages, and has had outstanding success playing in front of Morcheeba on the stage of Budapest Park. In 2021 he also recorded a song with iamyank, was shortlisted for the second time by HOTS Hungarian Music Export Office and was invited to the Waves Vienna Showcase Festival.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
