Igorrr, Amenra, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Hangman's Chair

They tend to criticise the metal genre by saying that they had run out of ideas and are playing the same stuff over and over again. Igorrr is a living example that there is still plenty of innovation left. This French band mixes black metal, baroque, breakcore and trip hop in their music and the result is quite captivating. Almost out of nowhere, tracks go from arias to huge shredding, mind-blowing breakbeats and back to baroque. Not to be missed are the opening bands, as we are once again visited by Amenra from Belgium, who give perhaps the most eerie concerts of the entire genre, thanks to an exceptional frontman.
