UH Fest
The UH Fest is one of those rare events in Hungary that is driven by a sense of adventure: a meeting place for musicians seeking new paths and expressions, and for audiences open to discoveries and surprises. Since 2001, we have performed hundreds of musicians from more than fifty countries and over a hundred local talents at numerous festivals and one-off concerts.
Schedule
For both festivals and one-night concerts, we place particular emphasis on presenting unconventional approaches and unique national settings that are often overlooked by local media and organisers of large mass festivals. Our guiding principle is to transcend narrow genre boundaries when putting together programmes; to juxtapose performers, even those with different styles and voices; to start dialogues about music.
It's a success if we can give all members of the audience the pleasure of discovering music that has been under the radar at our events. We deeply believe that this kind of discovery, this kind of intercultural dialogue - whether national or subcultural - can be an extraordinary community-building force, an inspiring medium and, not least, a source of a new kind of joy.
