The tour follows the cycle path and cycle-friendly route around Lake Fertő, using the recently rebuilt cycle path on the Hungarian side and the B10 on the Austrian side. The quality of the cycle paths is excellent, even on the 4 km section between Weiden and Podersdorf, where the road is gravel instead of asphalt for nature conservation reasons (no need to be scared, even for road cyclists, it's really good!). After the hills of Fertőrákos, Mörbisch and Rust, the rest of the hike is flat. Registration and payment of the participation fee is not sufficient to participate in the tour. All bikes must undergo a short check on the spot, after which you will receive your start packet, which includes your participation ID, which must be attached to your bike before departure. To make this procedure smooth and seamless, we ask everyone to have their bikes checked beforehand and to come prepared for the tour, because safety is in everyone's interest! For your own safety and the safety of others, you must not take part in the tour with a bike in poor technical condition! Obeying the Highway Code is compulsory, watch out for traffic, look out for each other. As the tour is also taking place in Austria, it is important that everyone has a valid identity card and the necessary documents for entry.

During the tour there will be several refreshment points and a couple of meeting points, so the tour will be completed in 25-30km stages. We ask everyone to start with a full canteen and a bar of chocolate and energy bars! At the refreshment points everyone can top up their supplies. Head protection is compulsory, as are goggles and gloves. Keep an eye out for each other and those ahead as you go! Keep a safe distance between you, the person in front of you can brake at any time! If you encounter obstacles on the road (pillars, potholes...), inform the others and pass on the information (it's easiest to shout)! If you have any problems during the hike, feel free to contact the organizers, we will try to find a solution! The service van will be with us all the way, so it will solve any technical problems that may arise during the trip, but you will have to pay for the parts installed. It's important that everyone brings a spare interior, there won't be time to glue it! We will be driving through a national park area, so take extra care of the environment! It is possible to dump your rubbish at the refreshment points!

Remember, it's 117km, so be prepared for the trek, both technically and physically! We would like to roll around the lake together in a good mood!
