Kispál and Lovasi concert
The Kispál and Lovasi production was brought to life by the Kispál on Orfű event in August 2022. The evening before the return concert of Kispál and the Borz, the two founding members of the legendary band, András Kispál and András Lovasi, were supposed to perform as a duo, but due to the great interest, they expanded to a four-piece with drummer Hunor G. Szabó and saxophonist Bence Babcsán.
Kispál and Lovasi's concert programme consists entirely of Kispál and the Borz songs, but they mainly play songs from the band's early days, and in addition to the hits, the audience can also hear more special compositions that have been played less frequently during their career. The songs are performed in their original instrumentation, in a trio arrangement typical of the band's early years, and complemented by Bence Babcsán's unique saxophone playing, making for an extraordinary quartet.
Anyone who has been to any of the summer concerts will know that you can expect joyful music-making and emblematic songs from a legendary oeuvre from Kispál and Lovasi.
Vígszínház
The Vígszínház is one of the most historic and popular theatres in Budapest. Its three venues (the Main Stage, the House Stage Studio and Chamber, the Pest Theatre) have a total of more than 1700 seats. The theatre is also known as the cradle of modern Hungarian bourgeois drama, with famous authors such as Jenő Heltai, Sándor Bródy, Dezső Szomory, Menyhért Lengyel, Ernő Szép, Sándor Hunyady, Ferenc Herczeg, and others. In the 21st century, the majority of the world's theatres with large auditoriums have lost a good part of their audience. Despite this trend, the premieres of the Vígszínház are successful, and its performances are well attended. The theatre is located on the Újlipótváros side of Szent István körút in Budapest.
