There is a song in every single thing. And it exists, this joyful primordial frequency, this famous sound wave that can penetrate bodies and bring them into ecstasy. Since 2012 - a full decade - Hendrik Weber, aka Pantha du Prince, has dedicated his work to a comprehensive project that has long shone brighter than his other releases, and which now reaches its experimental artistic peak with Garden Gaia. After 2012's Elements of Light, recorded with The Bell Laboratory, came 2020's Conference of Trees, this time as a solo venture. What unites these three albums is that Pantha du Prince is dedicated to the theme of "man as nature", in the sense that people unfold and flow out of their environment as bodies.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
