Kapitány Máté, SCHMRK
Máté Kapitány has been in the spotlight since the second half of the 2010s: as a producer he played a major role in the making of Krúbi's album Ösztönlény.In 2019 he made his mark with his own material - JEEP:A and ISTVÁN vol. 1., followed by "y" in 2020. His latest big hit was his contribution to Beton.Hofi's career-bursting album "comic sins" (MALÉV), but in May he finally released new material.

JEEP:B: Work on JEEP:B officially started in autumn 2022, but the brainstorming started years ago, with many of the beats and lyrics from the past now ripe for inclusion on the track list. He has worked with quite a big bunch of producers, namely: txybandi, bari.flp, prodbyshvarpe, poszti, Domchy, Varga Levente, D.Koms, and zoltai. The end result is a sparklingly creative 2023 hiphop album that doesn't beat the bar set by its predecessor. JEEP:B is rich in contributors - the voices and lines of artists such as Kolg8eight, Co Lee, Schmrk, Szlimmy, 0XY BEAT$, A T4g, Lil Frakk, as well as one of the most important figures of Hungarian jazz István Grencsó, with whom Máté had a dream to work together, also appear on the album!
The young Székesfehérvár-based rapper Schmrk released his debut album in January, which is a direct continuation of his previous songs with Lunar. The personal, self-therapeutic album was made as a successful conclusion to a difficult period for him, but the pain locked up in the songs is expected to reemerge as fresh energy in this performance.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
