Schedule
Dóra Győrfi has studied Javanese gamelan singing, but lately she has been expressing her knowledge not only in a traditional musical environment - she was featured on the 3rd album of the Jü band, and two years ago she and Áron Porteleki had a concert together at Lumen, which was so successful that the recording was also the basis for an album, "Kapa-kapa, eke". Porteleki Áron's musical roots are also in folk music, more specifically Hungarian folk music, but those who know a little about the Budapest underground will know that he is also at home in a wide range of musical worlds. But perhaps his main field is improvisation, or creative music, which draws on a wide range of styles.
This particular concert in 2021 was a highly conceptual, but largely improvisational concert - we can expect something equally unpredictable this time around.
Dóra Győrfi - vocals, objects, etc.
Porteleki Áron - drums, electronics, vocals, viola, etc.
The limited edition, numbered, cassette-format physical album, published by Prepost Records, will be available at the venue!
The entrance fee is two thousand five hundred forints, which directly supports our musicians and our programmes!
Lumen Café
A café and restaurant in the Mikszáth area, the big brother of KisLumen, where you can enjoy not only food and drinks but also culture. Especially jazz and other music for the mind.
