Schedule
The A-category Tallinn Film Festival (PÖFF) competition Who puts his bed (2023) and its predecessor, Budapest, a closed city (2021) will be seen together for the first time in an exclusive audience meeting. After the screenings, she talks with the two main characters, Szőke Abigeel and Katona Péter Dániel, and with the director Konkol Máté, about the generational growth stories of journalist Kovács Bálint (HVG), gender roles and the challenges of independent filmmaking.
Budapest, a Closed City was released in England this year on DVD, Blu-ray and streaming. Ki as met his bed was seen as part of the director’s high school prevention sessions on his own expense before he also started his festival tour, winning the Debrecen Malter Special Prize and Best Actress Award.
What exactly is the collection? 🤔
The third episode of the Young Adult trilogy is being prepared, and the revenue from the special event will be used for its post-financing and post-work. The book is based on our weapon (2024) community donations, volunteer work and benefits this summer. The 45-minute film could be produced for just 5 million forints. Over the course of the summer, thanks to your help, almost 1 million forints have already been collected: https://adjukossze.hu/.../a-konyv-a-my-weapon-film-a...
The third episode of the trilogy continues formally and substantially in a more participatory, more community-oriented, more documentary direction: the youth debates of the Democratic College were improvised by the actors, which are worked out in long settings that cite the style of Jancsó Miklós.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
