Over the past forty years, photographer Sebastiao Salgado has traveled across continents in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed the most important historical events of recent times, international conflicts, famine, migration. Now he begins to explore untouched areas, wild plants and animals, grandiose landscapes: a huge photographic project that honors the beauty of his planet. Sebastiao Salgado’s life and work is revealed by his son Juliano, Wim Wenders, who accompanied him on his last journeys, and by the photographer himself.
