This time, the guests of honour will be NovaN and Arulei, who will take you on an ethereal sonic journey; where pre-instruments will be accompanied by electronics.

The balance that is born between the two musicians, the joy of creation and the dynamics of collaboration will be revealed; the love child of violin and piano will lead the open-minded souls into a perfect magical world, preparing them for the rest of the evening.

To ensure a friendly atmosphere, the host Meo Culpa will be joined by the Self Knowledge Disco.

ARULEI

British - Hungarian-born film composer, violinist and looper performer with a wide range of expertise from world music to cyberpunk to ambient, creating a truly mixed sound with his violin playing. Because of the versatility of his music and his wealth of experience, he doesn't like to think in genres, letting the collaborative creation, the current mood and feelings guide his hands.

NOVAN

From experimental electronica to jazz, ethno, techno, trip-hop and psy elements, this is a boundary-pushing, heartfelt solo-act.

Primarily a fusion of instrumental playing and tribal pulsations with an improvised set using piano, analogue drum machines and synthesizers.

Originally a jazz pianist, NovaN has performed at venues ranging from Birmingham's Symphony Hall, London's St. James Church, Rotterdam's contemporary electronic festivals, Dutch house parties, through Budapest's underground scene to the DAAD and OZORA festivals.

The sin; that it is always deep.

For years, he has been one of the ambassadors of mixing world music and electronica, whose collections are very diverse, but his musicality is always centred on emotions and tribal sounds, operating with progressive and ancient elements at the same time.

He has performed at essentially all the relevant festivals, large and small, and in Budapest it is hard to find a place where he hasn't been heard. As a cultural organiser, he is responsible for the musical palette of many events (Ethnotech, Zengető, WaterVibes, Pontoon Live Jam) and his Sacraticum show on RadiOzora is a regular feature.

To recharge, to let off steam, to laugh, etc. The Self-Knowledge Disco, like the ritual music, is a session of inner change, self-awareness, introspection, which they hope will achieve its goal.
